Kim- Registered Dental Hygienist
I graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), beginning my career in the field of General Dentistry. I became part of the amazing family at Shiny Chompers when I moved to Maryland many years ago. Prior to becoming a dental hygienist, I worked for five years with Pre-K and Kindergarteners at an International School in Bangkok, Thailand. Transitioning to the pediatric dental field has come with ease! I love teaching about the importance of oral hygiene and watching kids get excited about being at the dentist. I am also fluent in Vietnamese which helps with our diverse population of patients.
When I am not in the office, I love spending time with my family, swimming, playing tennis, and traveling. I look forward to meeting you and your children!

Nine years ago, I began my career in a pediatric office, and in 2012, I joined the Shiny Chompers dental family. I am so excited to be part of this fantastic team! Dental health education in a fun environment makes this career perfect for me! My prevention based philosophy focuses on quality care, education, and motivation. A healthy smile improves overall health and wellness.
Some years ago, I married my wonderful husband, and we enjoy all the excitement of living in Charm City Baltimore. Outside of the office, I keep busy by creating handmade items for Harbor Baby Design, taking dance classes, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. I look forward to meeting you and will do my best to make your visit enjoyable.

I love seeing all the smiling faces at Shiny Chompers, and I especially love teaching children about the importance of oral health.

Denita- Registered Dental Hygienist
I am originally from Dallas, Texas, and my family settled on the East Coast in 1980. I attended high school at Shenandoah Valley Academy. After high school, I moved to Maryland and attended Baltimore City College where I studied Dental Hygiene, receiving my degree in 1990. I quickly discovered that my dental hygiene skills would be best applied in pediatrics. I love working with kids and teaching them that the dental office is not a scary place.
When I am not working as a hygienist, I take care of a house, a husband, two kids, and a dog. And, when I am not working at either of my jobs, I enjoy sailing, water sports, coaching middle-school girls basketball, and crafting.
